Rhododendron hybrida - George Hardy x Broughtonii
Hardy evergreen shrub with a dense upright habit and bright-green pointy foliage. In spring, pretty, deep-pink buds open to reveal conical trusses of soft-pink blooms that fade to blush.
Prefers a sheltered position under trees with dappled sunlight. Requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
