My photos don't do justice to the frame, especially, here, but this is very much about the whole package:hand-colored print and frame and original thin blown glass in the frame, too--and it is a strikingly lovely thing. And an early one, the print published by B. (\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBenjamin) Bramell (American, 1794-1851) in Philadelphia, first quarter 19th century I believe. Wonderful face, wonderful blue of her dress, bonnet laid to one side and bush of blooming roses to the other. And the frame, in gorgeous condition, with a bit of redness to the stain, wire hanging hook, jointed corners, wooden back, and original glass, is itself is worth the price, a beauty. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e7 7\/8\" x 7 1\/4\" framed.
